1. Controller and scope

NeoPet, an online store based as indicated in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, processes data for neopet.md, accounts, orders, support and newsletters.

2. Data collected

• Name, phone, email and delivery address.
• Order, delivery, payment and return details.
• Account, language, newsletter pet preference and favourites.
• IP, device, browser, security logs and cookies.
• Support messages, complaints and submitted photographs.

3. Purposes and grounds

We use data to perform orders, delivery, payment, invoicing, returns and support; meet legal duties; secure the service and defend legitimate rights; and, where required, with consent for newsletters and non-essential cookies.

4. Recipients

Necessary data may be shared with hosting and IT providers, couriers, payment processors, accountants, advisers and authorities. International transfers use safeguards required by Moldovan law.

5. Retention and security

Data is retained only for its purpose and applicable fiscal, accounting, contractual and limitation periods. Marketing data remains until consent is withdrawn. Reasonable access, backup, update and organisational controls are applied.

6. Your rights

Subject to law, you may request information, access, correction, erasure or blocking, object and withdraw consent. From August 23, 2026, applicable requests will also be handled under Law No. 195/2024. You may complain to Moldova’s personal data authority.

7. Children and pet data

Orders must be placed by legally capable persons. Pet type is a content preference and does not replace veterinary advice. We do not intentionally request children’s personal data.
